Brudenell Playing Fields Management Committee (BPFMC)

Baston is unusual in that it is one of the few villages where both the Playing Field and Village Hall are managed by a charity rather than a Parish Council. The Playing Field and Barn belong to all the residents of the village – the management committee merely manages the Trust.

The Annual General Meeting is held in April – usually the first Thursday of the month. At the AGM, the members of the committee are elected / re-elected by the village. Anybody in the village has the right to attend the AGM and anybody who is 18+ years of age and is resident in the village has the right to stand for election to the Committee. There are currently vacancies for Elected Village Reps on the Committee.
